Los Roques
… is an island archipelago which lies about 176 km off the coast of Venezuela. Only the island of Gran Roque is inhabited and offers charming small guest houses. Each house has its own very charming style and offers cozy Caribbean ambience for overnight. The remaining 135 small islands with their white coral beaches and the turquoise blue waters are popular destinations for day trips to the sunbathing. Day 1: Departure
Departure in Maiquetia at 07:30h. The flight time is 30 minutes. Gran Roque is the only inhabited island in the archipelago of Los Roques. Upon arrival, each visitor must pay an entrance fee to the national park of about 20 Euros. Most posadas have only 5 to 10 rooms. There are no hotel buildings on Gran Roques. After lunch, you will have time to explore the ancient lighthouse and the island. Dinner is served in the Posada.

Day 2
After breakfast, you will be brought to a neighbouring island. If you do not have your own snorkel equipment, this can be rented at the moorage. After a short boat ride you enter the island, a beach umbrella and beach chair are built up. You will be given a cool box with your lunch and possibly pre-ordered beverages. The whole day is at your disposal to relax and snorkel this dreamlike white Caribbean beach. You will be picked up again at the desired time in the afternoon. Dinner in the Posada.

Day 3
After breakfast, you will be brought once more to a neighbouring island. After a short boat ride you enter the island, a beach umbrella and beach chair are built up. You will be given a cool box with your lunch and possibly pre-ordered beverages. The whole day is at your disposal to relax and snorkel this dreamlike white Caribbean beach. You will be picked up again at the desired time on noon or afternoon. You can refresh yourself in the Posada and then go to the runway to take your returning flight.
